Enjoy the elegance of the Folding Hill Chardonnay 2021, hand-crafted from our organic vineyard in Bendigo, Central Otago. Harvested by hand from our small block of chardonnay vines this is our second vintage showing bright yellow almost golden colours. A nose of tropical fruit, pineapple, passionfruit and citrus leads onto floral notes of violet and roses. This delicious expression of Central Otago hits the palate with citrus and stone fruits balanced nicely with a touch of old oak spice. The velvety texture and flavours are all in perfect harmony. A family and customer favorite. Drinking amazingly right now but will develop nicely with a year or two of cellar age.

"The distinctive 2021 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and fermented in French oak barriques (10 per cent new). Bright, light yellow/green, with strong, lemony scents, it is mouthfilling, with good intensity of fresh, citrusy, peachy flavours, gently seasoned with oak, and good acid spine. A vigorous wine, already drinking well, it's well worth cellaring to 2025."
